Con il passare del tempo i ragazzi dell’associazione hanno pensato di lasciare una traccia nel mondo della cultura popolare nuorese, raccontando quanto appreso durante la ricerca.
Dopo tanti anni è bello tornare indietro e riascoltare le voci acerbe che cercavano di imitare ciò che i grandi già facevano, avendo avuto la possibilità di imparare proprio dalle loro voci, attraverso le registrazioni e le serate trascorse insieme a qualche cantore in alcuni bar di Nùoro.
Nell’autunno del 2018 registrano a s’antica. Furono realizzate poche copie, destinate solo ai cantori più anziani, perché ascoltandole potessero dire ai ragazzi se quanto stavano costruendo con le loro voci fosse giusto o avesse bisogno di correzioni.
Al ritorno dalla Grecia, nell’ottobre del 2020, dopo cinque anni di attività dalla prima apparizione pubblica del quartetto, nasce il primo lavoro discografico del gruppo. Prende il nome dalla poesia di
Antioco Casula "Montanaru" di Desulo: Razza Barbaricina. Nel disco, oltre alle poesie di Montanaru e Dessanay, vengono presentati i primi componimenti poetici di Andrea Porcheri, cantore del Tenore Nugoresu, con poesie di protesta e racconti su una Nùoro che non c’è più. Il disco include anche un repertorio di canti sacri appartenenti alla tradizione nuorese.
Nel 2021 nasce un altro progetto discografico: Custa est Nùgoro. È il nome scelto dal quartetto per il secondo disco. In questo lavoro, pubblicato in digitale sul web, si ascoltano i testi della letteratura nuorese, dai poeti affermati e più conosciuti fino a quelli dei giorni nostri. Dodici tracce audio che presentano il Canto di Nùoro tra sacro e profano.
L’ultimo lavoro, anch’esso pubblicato in digitale, arriva nel 2022. È un disco che vuole mettere in mostra la ricerca svolta dal sodalizio nel corso degli anni, con maggiore attenzione ai canti sacri. Oltre ai canti profani e sacri, vengono presentati nella loro forma originale i testi della tradizione popolare nuorese che si è soliti ascoltare dalle voci dei cori polifonici di scuola nuorese. Il disco si intitola: Cantos Nugoresos.
Dal 2018 il Tenore Nugoresu è inoltre attivo sul web, attraverso i principali social, con un’intensa attività di pubblicazione sulla cultura nuorese. Spesso i testi illustrativi sono accompagnati da registrazioni che immortalano le voci dei ragazzi del gruppo, riuscendo così a fornire ulteriori informazioni a un pubblico composto per lo più da giovani, sulla ricerca svolta dall’associazione. Cantadas è il format che, proprio attraverso questa serie di pubblicazioni, permette di far arrivare al maggior numero di persone possibile tutto il materiale che il gruppo vuole far conoscere.

Over time, the association’s members felt the need to leave a trace in the world of Nùoro’s popular culture, recounting what they had learned through their research.
After so many years, it is meaningful to look back and listen again to their young, still unpolished voices, which tried to imitate what the elders already did, having had the chance to learn directly from
those voices through recordings and evenings spent with singers in some of Nùoro’s bars.
In the autumn of 2018, they recorded a s’antica. Only a few copies were made, intended solely for the older singers, so that by listening they could tell the young members whether what they were building with their voices was right or needed correction.
Upon returning from Greece in October 2020, after so many years of activity since the quartet’s first public appearance, the group relea sed its first album. It takes its name from a poem by Antioco Casula "Montanaru" of Desulo: Razza Barbaricina. In addition to poems by Montanaru and Dessanay, the album features the first poetic compositions by Andrea Porcheri, a singer of Tenore Nugoresu including protest poems and stories about a Nùoro that no longer exists. The album also includes a repertoire of sacred songs belonging to the Nùoro tradition.
In 2021, another recording project was born: Custa est Nùgoro. This is the title chosen by the quartet for their second album. Released digitally online, this work presents texts from Nùoro’s literature, from
well known and established poets to those of today. Twelve audio tracks showcasing Nùoro’s Canto between the sacred and the pro fane.
The latest work, also released digitally, came out in 2022. This album aims to highlight the research carried out by the association over the years, with greater focus on sacred songs. Alongside profane and sacred pieces, it presents in the ir origin al form the texts of Nùoro’s popular tradition, usually heard through the voice s of polyphonic choirs in the Nùoro style. The album is titled: Cantos Nugoresos.
Since 2018, Tenore Nugoresu has also been active online through major social media platforms, with an intensi ve program of publications on Nùoro culture. Illustrative texts are often accompanied by recordings that capture the voices of the group’s members, thus providing additional information to a mainly young audience abo ut the association’s rese arch. Cantadas is the format that, through this series of publications, allows the group to share its material with as many people as possible.
